The definition has a ton of definitions for the word Love but lets go with this one; Love-a strong positive emotion of regard and affection;
The bible tells us in 1 john 4:8 & 4:16, that God is love. We will never experience a greater Love than the Love of God. He loved us so much that he sacrificed his only son for our sins ( Jonh 3:16).
Often we seek love outside of God and we end up disappointed, not because no one else iS capable of loving us but surely because no one else is capable of loving us as much as or more than God..
I find comfort in knowing that God loves me, I don't have to loose weight in order to receive his love I don't have to look a certain way, act a certain way or even posses certain things he loves me just because. I am even more comforted by the fact that theirs NOTHING that I could do to make him love me less. Unlike certain people in our lives God's love is truly unconditional, his love is perfect. John 15:-12 9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
I don't know about anyone else but the love of God is a love I DON'T WANT TO DO WITHOUT.
